I just made my first blueberry pie although they were not local (or even Michigan) blubes. We should have fat juicy blackberries all over the place soon. I just found out you can take a bag of dried beans and cook them then freeze them in freezer baggies for quick soup makin' (or whatever). Cheap and easy.
