Thanks for the pictures! It&...I love the Cloisters. Thanks for the pictures! It's been years since I went there. I have the spooky feeling when there that I was a monk or a nun in a previous life, possibly a scribe who illustrated manuscripts. <br /><br />They used to have a garden day in early June, when there would be talks about medieval plants and gardening practices, and about plants in the tapestries, etc. Don't know if they still have that, but it's really worth going to. <br /><br />I re-read The Mixed Up Files this summer. It's such a great book! I love it just as much now as I did so many years ago.
