Embroidery BAGS!

You guys!  I have been remiss in telling you about these new canvas bags that I designed for Creativebug.  They are available as an incentive for new subscribers.   Anna Maria Horner, Lisa Congdon, and Kaffe Fassett also designed bags, which are free when you sign up for a new subscription!  I really like the way mine one turned out, and I love that it's lined in black with black handles, which seems like it will make it stay nicer longer.

Creativebug sent me one which I've been using for my groceries for a little while now, and they sent me a second that I've been waiting for the right moment to give to one of you.  Next week I'll pick a winner.

This giveaway includes:

  • a Rebecca Ringquist/Creativebug Totebag
  • the May edition of the Colorburst Samplers (**Starburst**)
  • a Three month subscription to Creativebug.com, with unlimited access to a huge variety of classes

Three ways to win (choose one or all three):
  • Visit Creativebug and let me know which class you would take first.
  • Post this picture to Pinterest and leave a link in the comments.
  • Leave a comment telling me your favorite embroidery stitch.
I'll pick a winner next Wednesday, June 4th by the end of the day.  Good luck!

  1. Comment#1-Every girl needs another tote! Very nice. I would probably take the drawing class first with Lisa Congdon. I am horrible at drawing, so anything to improve
Comment #2-Call me simple, I like a good running stitch.

  16. Pin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/52635889369969143/. I am already a subscriber and the very first class I took was Lisa Congdon's "Basic Line Drawing." That class is actually the reason I subscribed, but then so many other classes popped up that interested me, I continued. The first embroidery class I took was your class: "Layered Floral Embroidery," then I took "Embroidery Sampler," and "Keepsake Needle Case." I would love to win the prizes, especially a 3 month subscription. My favorite stitch is the back stitch--embroidery is new to me and that stitch looks great with 1-3 strands of floss. Thank you for the opportunity.

And I've posted your picture to Pinterest as Pinterest is my little secret time, when the kids are in bed and I collapse on the couch for 5mins, soaking in great images. Jane
