Creativebug sent me one which I've been using for my groceries for a little while now, and they sent me a second that I've been waiting for the right moment to give to one of you. Next week I'll pick a winner.
This giveaway includes:
- a Rebecca Ringquist/Creativebug Totebag
- the May edition of the Colorburst Samplers (**Starburst**)
- a Three month subscription to Creativebug.com, with unlimited access to a huge variety of classes
Three ways to win (choose one or all three):
- Visit Creativebug and let me know which class you would take first.
- Post this picture to Pinterest and leave a link in the comments.
- Leave a comment telling me your favorite embroidery stitch.
I'll pick a winner next Wednesday, June 4th by the end of the day. Good luck!
Comment#1-Every girl needs another tote! Very nice. I would probably take the drawing class first with Lisa Congdon. I am horrible at drawing, so anything to improve
ReplyDeleteComment #2-Call me simple, I like a good running stitch.

DeleteWell... I'm torn between your Embroidery sampler class and Cal Patch's leggings class... I think I need to take them all!
ReplyDeleteAnd on Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteWhoops! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/57913545183077593/
DeleteAnd I have a CRUSH on french knots : )!
ReplyDeleteI just figured out how to do an outline stich and I really like it!
ReplyDeleteFor all it's simplicity, I just love the basic running stitch. But now that I've finally mastered french knots, they are a close second.
ReplyDeleteI think that's my favorite too, Lemonade Sandwich!

I'm working through Susan Beal's log cabin course, but definitely next is Amy Karol's underwear (I've done most of yours already!)
DeleteAnd right now I'm into variations on the blanket stitch - I'm using it to convert my kids leggings to capris and bike shorts for the summer!
DeleteMichelle- I know! it's a total bummer that they aren't for sale. Maybe if you get a subscription for a friend and keep the bag for yourself?!?
DeleteGreat idea - win-win!
DeleteMy favorite embroidery stitch is the satin stitch. You can fill in big spaces in no time at all!
ReplyDeleteThe Amy Butler Gumdrop Pillow class looks insanely amazing. I think I'd take that one first!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your bag design! I'd take Suminagashi Ink Marbling with Jody Alexander. Although, your embroidered skirt class looks super fun, too! My favorite embroidery stitch is lazy daisy. http://www.pinterest.com/silvertrumpet/embroidery-love/
ReplyDeleteI think I'd take your advanced embroidery sampler class...I've already taken the original sampler class! ;)
ReplyDeletePinned! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/392516923746156569/
ReplyDeleteI like coral stitch. For some reason, I cannot master backstitch--it looks all wonky! It's very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to do your embroidery sampler class, though very tempted by Amy Butler's Gumdrop pillow too. My favourite stitch is feather stitch. Here's my pinand thank you for another lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeletePin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/52635889369969143/. I am already a subscriber and the very first class I took was Lisa Congdon's "Basic Line Drawing." That class is actually the reason I subscribed, but then so many other classes popped up that interested me, I continued. The first embroidery class I took was your class: "Layered Floral Embroidery," then I took "Embroidery Sampler," and "Keepsake Needle Case." I would love to win the prizes, especially a 3 month subscription. My favorite stitch is the back stitch--embroidery is new to me and that stitch looks great with 1-3 strands of floss. Thank you for the opportunity.

ReplyDeleteSo many lovely stitches, so hard to choose. I think my favourite is seed stitch....I can't really explain why, but for drawing with thread, I love couching. You can make any shape you want.
ReplyDeleteAnd for Creative Bug classes, I've already bought a number (i like the idea of having permanent access, without the commitment of a forever-subscription) but next I think I'd like to try Orizomegami with Jody Alexander.

ReplyDeleteSo I don't know my favourite stitch, as I haven't stitched for about 15 years. I'd take any of your classes as I need to get my "creative juices flowing" again (As my old textile teacher would say!) And I've posted your picture to Pinterest as Pinterest is my little secret time, when the kids are in bed and I collapse on the couch for 5mins, soaking in great images. Jane
ReplyDeleteI would have to say the running stitch and french knots are both my faves. Loving this bag!!! I have one of your samplers and dyed it a pink color first before I embroidered it.
