Nick Cave Double Duty Excitement in NYC

Because of a bunch of deadlines here, I was late getting to the Nick Cave party that's going on right now in NYC.  He has long been one of my favorites, and I am so glad to have finally seen one of the two shows last weekend.  Imagine my surprise and disappointment to find out right after I got back to Brooklyn that I had missed the second show at Mary Boone! Dang.  If you're here in New York or nearby and you haven't been to the TWO GALLERIES featuring solo shows of Cave's work- now is your chance.  You don't want to miss this.  Here's a link to an article from the New York Observer.

These new button sound suits at Jack Shainman knocked my socks off this Saturday.  The gallery is just steps from the Highline, and just down the street from the Donutplant (where they had fresh raspberry donuts this Saturday).  It's a trifecta of amazingness, and I guarantee you'll love it.  If nothing else, you'll love the donut.   I'm headed out to see the second show at Mary Boone tomorrow.
