My lips are sealed

It's been quiet around the blog, but it's not for lack of activity around the studio.  I'm gearing up for a big project that I'll tell you all about soon.  It's hard not to spill the beans sooner, I'm so excited!  In addition to the secret project, I'm gearing up for a ton of not so secret workshops that are fast approaching.  I'm heading to Wing and Clover, then Squam, then A Verb for Keeping Warm, then SAIC, then Arrowmont, then Haystack (see the workshops section up at the top for more info).  It's a lot to prepare for, so I'm spending a lot of time doing mental and physical stretches to gear up for this marathon workshop season.
Right now, today, in this moment, I am really happy to be looking ahead to Squam.  I can't wait to sit by the fire, and to hear the loons at night, and to catch up with all my Squam friends- like Bonnie, whose post from last year makes me so happy to be going back!  Here's hoping that the weather is the perfect combination of warm enough to swim during the day, and cool enough to require a down comforter on the sleeping porch at night!  Are you coming along to Squam this year?  Leave me a message in the comments to say Hi!

  1. Not only will I be there, but I will be in your Embroidered Memories class. My idea for my embroidered memory is ... SQUAM! For images, I've enlarged a sketch I did of ladyslippers there last year, the Squam logo, a picture of a loon ... and who knows what else. It's going to be fun. I'll also bring my finished Stitch Dictionary from last year to show you. :-)
