Stitched Stories...........

I came across this short documentary that highlights two English stitch collectives yesterday.  It made me think about all the days I spent at the Museum of London when I was studying abroad in college.  The museum was only a short tube ride from where I lived, and I loved the exhibits, especially their huge collection of materials related to the Suffragettes, including their embroidered Suffragette handkerchiefs.   The stitchers in the video working at London's Craftivist Collective seem intrinsically linked to their English Suffragette great grandmothers......
