Podcast updates, new workshop, and more....

Union Square Farmer's Market, NYC
I have a few updates.  One- strawberries are in season and roses are in bloom and it's not 98 degrees with 100 percent humidity anymore!

Two- there's now a link to Monday's podcast in case like the rest of us you were working when it aired and would like to catch up this weekend.  Here you go.  You'll need to scroll down and select the June 3rd episode.

Three- I've got a new class up now at Creativebug.  This one is near and dear to my heart, and delves into some of the layering and pattern combining that I like to do in my own artwork.  AND it introduces a bunch of stitches that weren't included in the original sampler workshop, so if you're hungry for more, this is IT!

Lastly, this has been one crazy week.  I was laughing to myself last night when I was going over the day in my head.  At one point I posted a photo on instagram of a candy shop I saw near my new studio.  I think the caption said something like  "just out exploring the new studio neighborhood"  In real life I was running to catch a train with a computer and two big bags of artwork strapped to my shoulders.  It wasn't so much a walk as much as it was a crazed hustle.  It's nice to be able to look back at the day and notice what I did stop to notice though, you know what I mean?  I love that instagram keeps me on the lookout for beautiful things to capture.  Are you hanging out there too?  Find me here, and if you're working on a sampler and feel inspired to tag, use #dropclothsamplers
