NYC Escape.....

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, sometimes living in New York City is hard.  It's pretty loud and crowded most of the time.  Which is why sometimes it sure feels good to hop in a rented car and go from this....

To this.  

Hooray for the Hudson Valley and for narrow country roads just open for Spring hikers.  Hooray for getting my heart rate up without setting foot in the YMCA.    Hooray for antique stores and brunches and for sleeping to the sounds of rain and waking up to the birds.  The birds!    More about antiquing tomorrow....hope you all have a great spring week.
