I am so pleased to be included in the 100 Years of Ox-Bow exhibition at the Grand Rapids Art Museum in Michigan. I have taught at Ox-Bow for the last two summers- it's a really special place in that everything about Ox-Bow points to art making. From the way the food is prepared, to the way that the life jackets are arranged near the dock, Ox-Bow is an inspiring place to be and to make work. I was so honored when I was asked to be included in this exhibit celebrating 100 years of art making at Ox-Bow. Here I am with my Grandma posing in front of my work at a reception on Friday. Photographs are not allowed in the museum, but oweing to how she's my Grandma, we felt we could make one small exception.
LOVE this haircut!
